Arrived later at night. The owner was very nice to us. The campsite was very clean. The shower blocks were very clean. We have done a few islands (main land, Lewis & Harris) and this campsite has to be the cleanest yet. Definitely recommend.

A beautiful location. handy for visiting the island of Eriskay. Within walking distance of the local pub. Saw seals and otters during evening walk. Very friendly and accomodating owner. On site cafe, showers (very clean) washing drying etc. I liked the relaxed atmosphere of the place. Was there for both business & pleasure. will be back.

Had a lovely stay here on Wednesday and Thursday. The owner was really warm and friendly and catered for our extra night stay. The campsite is in a beautiful setting and the site is also very clean and has everything that you need. I would really recommend that you stay here. Thank you for lovely memories… we will be back. Campsite for Everyone!

Kilbride Campsite is situated at the southern end of the Hebridean island of South Uist, beside the road that runs along the south shore of the island.  The campsite looks out across a small bay with white shell-sand beach and enjoys magnificent views across the Sound of Barra, with its sparkling turquoise seas and scattering of islands.

The campsite is a very popular with those walking or cycling the Hebridean Way, stopping overnight either at the campsite or at our adjacent hostel, or breaking their day-time journey with rest and refreshments at our adjoining café

The campsite is popular, too, for those touring with cars - whether packed with tents or towing a caravan, and is especially popular with those touring the islands with a campervan or motorhome.
